This is my most recent version of my contents page. I have changed the font colours on the contents so they are a mixture of red, black and green. I have done this because it is conventional in indie music magazines, and appeals more to the audience because the audience are people that stand out. I have also added a website and date as it is conventional for music magazines to do this.
This is my most recent version of my front cover. I have changed it by adding effects to the text to make it stand out more to the audience. I have also moved the puff to the corner as before it was too big and in the way.
I have updated it so that the US flag cover the whole page, as this makes it look like one page. I have also changed the photographs in to black and white, and I have added the outer glow effect to the font to make it sand out against the background.
I changed this slightly to add effect to the text of the main article, and also on the masthead. I have done this to attract the audience's attention as it is the first thing they will see when they pick it up.
I have made minor changes as I have added effect to "Strum" and "This week", I have made it shiny to make it stand out. I have also added an effect to the main photograph to make it lighter.
I have made a slight change as I have added effect to the title to make the writing look shiny, and changed the font on the word "Real". I have done this to make it stand out more and it also attracts the audience's attention because the audience are looking for something exciting. I have also added a new picture to underneath where the interview is as conventionally on double page spreads in music magazines there is more than one photo.
I have decided to add the drop shadow effect to the artist and the title to make them stand out more, and also to give it a more professional effect. I used the rectangle tool on photoshop to add the blue background on the area where the interview is, and set the font colour to red and white. I have done this so it fits in with the colours on the image of the US flag, and also so it fits in with the theme of the article which is about how the artist has been touring the USA.
