Double page spread updated

This is an updated version of my double page spread. I have decided to change the background colour to white so the image and text stands out on it. I have also varied the different fonts used as this is conventionally done in music magazine to give a more dramatic effect. I have created this double page spread by editing the image on photoshop, then saving it as a jpeg file so i can open it in publisher.

Contents page updated

I have changed my contents page so that it follows the conventions of an Indie music magazine. I have changed the black background to a yellow and grey one to make it stand out more, and also so it follows the conventions of having a colour scheme. I have also changed it so the contents is on the right hand side of the page, as this is what is done in NME and Kerrang. I have added the backdrop effect to the title to make it stand out more and to match the masthead on  the front cover.  I have started to add more pictures, however I still need to add more to comply with the conventions of an indie music magazine contents page. I also need to add more articles to the contents.

Front cover updated

I have made some changes to the front cover as i have added effects to the masthead to make it stand out more such as the shadowing. I have also added a banner to the top, as it is conventional of music magazines to have this as it makes it look more professional. I still however have some changes to make and I am going to experiment with adding more  pictures to this to see how it looks.
